Welcome to the Brad McCain State Farm Agency, proudly serving Richland and surrounding communities in Washington. I opened my office on January 4, 2021, bringing over 30 years of executive leadership experience from nonprofit organizations across Oklahoma, Illinois, and Washington. In 2026, I’m celebrating my 7th year with State Farm, committed to helping families and businesses protect what matters most.

Originally from Texas, I married my wife, who is from Kennewick, more than 30 years ago here in Richland, WA. We’ve called Washington home since 2008 and are proud parents of four children—two grown sons, a daughter in college, and one in high school. Our family is multi‐ethnic and multicultural through the adoption of all four of our children, a personal experience that has shaped how I connect with and serve others. We also share our home with our Havanese dog, who has been part of the family for six years.

At our Richland, WA office, we focus on providing personalized support across Auto Insurance, Homeowners Insurance, Renters Insurance, Life Insurance, and Business Insurance, along with options for Health Insurance and coverage for pets. We take the time to understand your needs so we can walk through your options and help you make informed decisions with confidence.

I value strong relationships, clear communication, and being present in the community we serve. I enjoy staying connected through Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter, where we share updates from the office and a bit of personality along the way. Stop by or reach out anytime—I’d welcome the opportunity to connect and help you review your insurance options here in Richland, WA, and beyond.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: How do I get car insurance quotes?

A: You can get car insurance quotes online, by phone, or with a local agent by sharing details about your vehicle, driving history, and coverage needs. Serving Richland and the surrounding area, Brad can help answer your questions.

Q: How quickly can car insurance coverage start?

A: In some cases, car insurance coverage can begin the same day you purchase a policy. The timing may vary depending on your situation. We can help you get coverage quickly when you need it. Have questions? Brad in Richland can walk you through your options.

Q: What coverage is required when leasing a car?

A: Leased vehicles typically require more coverage than the state minimums. In addition to liability insurance, leasing companies usually require comprehensive and collision coverage, and you may need to list the leasing company on your policy as an additional insured or loss payee. Brad works with Richland residents to find coverage that fits.

Q: What happens when you have life insurance in place?

A: Life insurance provides a payout to your chosen beneficiaries if you pass away while the policy is active. It can help give your loved ones financial support when they may need it most. Connect with Brad for insurance guidance in Richland.

Q: How would you explain renters insurance?

A: Renters insurance is a policy designed to help protect your personal belongings and provide liability coverage while you're renting a home or apartment. It focuses on your possessions and potential risks, rather than the building itself, which is typically covered by your landlord's policy. In Richland, you can count on Brad for personalized service.

Q: Do you have to have home insurance?

A: Homeowners insurance requirements can vary depending on your state and situation, but most lenders will require it if you have home financing. Even when it's not required, many homeowners choose to carry coverage to help protect their home and financial well-being from unexpected events. Brad serves Richland, WA and is happy to help with your insurance needs.
